I feel like he's just trying his best to fit in with the white people.

Everything seems to be a surprise for this guy.

I was looking at the picture with the story and thinking "Finally. He looks relaxed!"

“President Trump has assembled the most talented and impressive Administration in history..."

Why do they have to talk like this? Why make an absurd claim instead of any of the more plausible positive things she could say? Are they trying to out-compete each other for the dictator's favor?

Also, why do they all capitalize like Trump? Hold on, did Trump write this statement?

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 20 points 1 week ago

They talk like this because it's what Trump wants to hear.

He may have written her statement directly, but it's equally likely that if someone doesn't include shit like that in a public statement, the President will personally berate them.

Propaganda. That’s why. That’s the only reason.

One by one all the "house" minority pawns will be pushed out.

Tokens get spent

[–] alquicksilver@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

Oh please let it be a Futurama-style firing

If he gets fired it won't be for breaking the law, but for being so incompetent at it.

[–] UnPassive@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago

Is it something to do with not editing the Epstein files? I'd be surprised that Patel wouldn't...

Perhaps he found someone even more incompetent.

[–] Bosht@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I honestly don't give a fuck. My only hope is he whistle blows and brings down as much as shit as possible when he is fired

[–] RustyShackleford@piefed.social 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He won’t, because he lacks the spine and willpower to stand up for himself. He’s aware he’s a token hire who doesn’t want to be deported from the country he’s aiding in a grift, so he’s willing to eat crow.

[–] Bosht@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Right. I know it's wishful thinking. Plus knowing this admin he could whistle blow the whole chain and nothing would happen.

[–] Xotic56@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 1 week ago

He should try writing another children's book about Trump being king and see if that helps.

If I know anything about this president its that he loves getting his dick sucked.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

He's so bad at investigating, he will likely be surprised when it happens!
