Most corrupt group of morons I've ever seen. What a fucking clown show.

[–] TuffNutzes@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

I can't wait to see the pages of redactions. It's going to be a stack of like 20 pages with three or four enemies of Trump's on it. The rest are all redacted.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

MORE OF THIS!

[–] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 55 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

So now we know for sure the list includes Republicans.

[–] Showroom7561@lemmy.ca 29 points 12 hours ago

LOL. Was there any doubt?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 18 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Isn't this something that even most Republicans suspected this corrupted government would do?

All normal Americans suspected this because, well, duh. And Republicans that suspected the government under Taco would do this because that's their idea of "justice", and they expect him and his staff to deliver it.

[–] Goodmorningsunshine@lemmy.world 2 points 44 minutes ago

It won't stop them from bleating, "See?! That's why the left never released them - because they're the only ones on it!" when they finally come.

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 57 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

Hopefully they leave in all the black redactions and not just delete them.

That way we can see how many republicans were redacted.

However I fear they’re also fabricating and just adding as many enemies they need to it for a large night of long knives. Like their version of Project Insight.

[–] dermanus@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 minutes ago

Hopefully they fuck up the redaction and someone just deletes the black boxes from the pdf. It's happened before.

[–] bold_atlas@lemmy.world 28 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (2 children)

It'll literally be a notepad file called "jeffrey epstein list.txt" that list every democrat reps and senator.

[–] dirthawker0@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

It'll be a series of .jpgs with poorly blanked-out spaces and names of Democrats added, in a different font and not at all fitting into the blank spaces.

[–] MajorasTerribleFate@lemmy.zip 23 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

jeffrey epstein list(1)(1) final(1).txt

[–] RunningInRVA@lemmy.world 9 points 13 hours ago

Don’t forget to prefix with “Copy of Copy of”

[–] DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works 79 points 22 hours ago (4 children)

They won't release it.

Because if they release a list with only Dem names on it, surely there will be a former Biden Admin official with a copy of the full unredacted list, and they could just release that as retaliation.

Neither party would want to release it, because its M.A.D. at this point.

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 45 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

If there IS a hypothetical former Biden official with the full unredacted documents who doesn't have the courage to leak them, this hypothetical person needs to be hung from the nearest hypothetical tree.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 11 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Lots of MAGA claimed to want the swamp drained. Maybe a "true Qanon" person would also leak the list.

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 10 points 16 hours ago

Yeah, sure would be nice if they actually had political beliefs or principles they weren’t willing to discard when it made their garbage worldview inconvenient.

So we should assume every redacted name is a Republican, got it.

Dude they are never releasing the full files. This is all just a fucking tease and while they're busy pretending to be bringing the hammer of justice down all the pedophiles they just chose to protect (once again) are casually helping set up and cement the authoritarian regime in cities across America.

Like when we reach the point that there is military patrolling every major city, elections are cancelled indefinitely for our own good, and they feel safe enough to just admit they're not releasing anything else, what do we even do?

This is like somebody who you caught robbing you, then giving you some of your stuff back to get you to shut up and not draw so much attention. Then reassuring you that you'll get the rest back soon, they just didn't feel comfortable giving it all back to you yet? What possible reason would you have to trust or believe that they'll do anything once the heat and focus has died down enough?

[–] Sunflier@lemmy.world 28 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (2 children)

what do we even do?

The French had this idea

[–] pupbiru@aussie.zone 4 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (1 children)

Dude they are never releasing the full files

whilst i think every reasonable person wants everyone on a hypothetical epstein list (only saying hypothetical because we don’t honestly know what’s actually there to be released: doubtful it’s as simple as a list) to be brought to justice, the point at this stage is just to speak their language: MAGA can’t be trusted, and it seems the only way they realise that is with things like this… constantly point out, on common ground, that this is all hypocritical lying bullshit

[–] Mediocre_Bard@lemmy.world 4 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

They don't care though. They know that they are hypocritical lying bullshit peddlers. To them, that is a virtue.

[–] JcbAzPx@lemmy.world 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

The core, ie the qanon cult, absolutely care. Their only reason for engaging in politics in the first place is to fight the demonic pedophile ring infesting the government. They just didn't realize they were voting for its leader.

[–] Mediocre_Bard@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

I doubt they realize it now.

[–] pupbiru@aussie.zone 3 points 12 hours ago

there’s definitely some of them that do… at the very least, there’s been a bunch of the MAGA influencers that have been pissy about it… i think that’s a useful thing to push on

Its gonna be a short list.....

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago)

Nah, they'll just put in the names of everyone they don't like. The only name I'd be certain was already there is Bill Clinton's.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 22 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Disagree. The list will be shorter, but it's not necessarily a short list. Being a Democrat doesn't stop someone from being a PoS.

A few years ago someone posted a list of reported sex crimes by politically affiliated people. It was about 60/40 Republicans.

My concern is that neither side has released a list because its going to be insanely ugly. Like the most powerful people in the US....and the fallout is going to be anarchy.

I have to believe that Biden's team looked at what the fallout would look like, and their reaction was "Oh....my....god. What they did was fuckjng horrific, but the country will literally implode if we release this."

I'm all for releasing it, we need a bit of a hard reset/wake up call.

[–] RaoulDook@lemmy.world 2 points 9 hours ago

Well what you're deciding to believe about that is just wrong. Members of the Biden administration did assist (D) senator Wyden's investigation into wire transfers of billions of dollars to Epstein, which is still ongoing and he has published a list of dozens of names that he found records of financial involvement with Epstein. That investigation which Biden staff cooperated with is being blocked by Trump's staff currently.

[–] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 6 points 13 hours ago

The country won't explode, it will destroy the pedophiles legacy and future though, which is death to them. Nearly everything biden does is do gaslight people into thinking he was a great person.

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 11 points 17 hours ago

Apparently it is safer to leave these blackmail compromised people in powerful positions.

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 6 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

people need to treat not releasing the info as though the files have the worst possible contents

hard reset is definitely needed

Releasing the list is damage control.

The Epstein list is really just a focusing lens of much greater rage at billionaires and the elites that cover for them. They either throw some meat to satiate the wolves at their door or the wolves will want to come for them all. Americans are too American to admit their rage is all really about wealth inequality.

So, what we need is the list from the victims read into record by AOC or the like. That's all I'd trust.

[–] papertowels@mander.xyz 32 points 1 day ago

AOC and MTG, side by side, reading from the same document. Just AOC alone would let conservatives shrug off every consequential name.
