It's good to aim for the stars. I think there are a lot of goals that we can achieve to move the needle a bit.
I say this as an old guy who owns a house... The housing market needs to crash. We need to build a ton of affordable housing. As an alternative to renting, we need the government to directly provide rent-free housing to people in need. It's difficult to invest in something when people can get the same thing for free.
All of these fully leveraged asshole investors need to lose their entire portfolios. The housing market needs to crash, so that young people can afford to buy their own houses.
If that doesn't move the needle enough, just keep building free government housing. That's my theory.
