Right now, they are targeting off-duty non-white cops. It will expand — yesterday, Presidential Adviser Stephen Miller called for local and state police to surrender to ICE. Failing to fight is no protection.

Well Chief Bruley, you could instruct your officers to protect the citizens against those that are violating their civil rights.

Cops, by and large, tend to be conservative. And conservatives usually only care about state persecution when it affects them and people they care about directly.
