On the positive side, 59% disagree that the plan to invest in large-scale national projects is a poor use of money, a slim majority (55%) agree that he has done a good job standing up to President Trump and 53% disagree that investing in defense is a poor use of taxpayer money. On the more negative side, only a minority agree that the Liberal government has done a good job on immigration (47%). Moreover, only 43% have seen progress on interprovincial trade. Similarly, 66% agree that they’re not confident that Carney’s budget cuts will be enough to improve Canada’s economic situation.

Ouch. I hope that fall budget improves public perception of the guy.

Waiting six months to kick off the new affordable housing agency doesn't look in my books. They're only planning to build 4000 units in the first year, so I'm not sure that'll change anyone's mind.
