Because the entire cabinet is filled with people on the list hoping/jockeying for redaction or being paid off for their silence.

The corruption is orders of magnitude greater than anything witnessed before.

pam bondi being the most obvious, being a consultant for QATAR , and bribed by trump during her "trump university lawsuit"

[–] inari@piefed.zip 55 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

And yet... no one is getting arrested or investigated

[–] lennybird@lemmy.world 27 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

There's sadly nobody above Bondi and the Supreme a court. They are it.

Sweet Jebus I desperately wanted someone during her deposition to shout "Quiet piggy!" in the middle of her rambling nonsense defending pedos. The chuds would've lost their fucking minds.

Massie: "The fact our leaders are pedophiles, rapists and murderers isn't a problem, it's only my party's reputation that matters."

[–] orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 32 points 5 hours ago (3 children)

Massie is doing more than the rest of his party combined.

Damning with praise so faint even Hubble couldn't detect it.

Your statement is basically equivalent to "Massie is the only one in the entire party who isn't a criminal co-conspirator." (And even then, the scope of that claim is limited to that particular set of crimes!)

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

he likely isnt funded like the rest of his party, probably not by the same billionaires, and like someone mention probably by donors that thier bottom line is getting hurt by trumps exposure of the files and tariffs.

[–] orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 hours ago

He isn't. I may not like his positions, but he's principaled.

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 6 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Yes, for the good of the party.

[–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 5 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

He's literally going against everyone else in the party on the Epstein thing.. I don't understand what you are talking about.

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 45 minutes ago)

It's fucking horrifying that the contents of the Trump-Epstein files has now been so normalized that you're actually defending Massie and his whining about his party's "months of humiliation." If the senator was decent human being he would be loudly calling for immediate resignations, investigations, prosecutions and prison time for those proven guilty of these contemptible crimes,

Massie's "literally going against everyone else in the party on the 'Epstein thing'" (Really?), is only notable because of the tacit approval of human trafficking, child rape and murder by the rest of the Grand Old Pedophiles.

That's what I'm talking about.

It’s a start. Imagine if he did nothing?

USA politicians don't resign, they will wheel an 100-year-old comatose ghoul in front of the cameras to vote, they do not care. (remember Byrd? God Lord)

He had no clue for months. Reagan too, and now Biden and Trump. But, it really doesn't matter I guess. The actual decisions are made elsewhere.

The 70s was our last gasp, we are running on fumes alone

bud Dwyer ... resigned.
