Bongino wasn't fired; he's still in his former role in the Border Patrol in California. He is talking about he has never tasted beaver though.
They thought a focused crackdown would make people everywhere comply out of fear.
It had the opposite effect, so they're going to spread back out.
But they're doing the same shit
They've changed their tactics in that they are becoming even more hostile to observers, protestors, and organizers. They are pressuring social media companies to hand over information about anti-ICE organizing and posters. They're confiscating phones and cameras when they encounter them. Clearly, they are making a show of arresting journalists like Don Lemon. It is continuing to ramp up, but it is more distributed so that it harder to find and record.
The best part is that Minnesota has given us a blueprint on how to handle them.

It's literally not the same and it's still happening in Minnesota more than anywhere else..
They're just not doing it as blatantly since they finally realized that's hurting public opinion instead of helping.
Instead of in cities with loads of people, they're rolling up in suburbs where it's over before anyone can get a cellphone out.
Don't think shit stopped just because there's less tiktoks about it

It's got me wondering what tear gas smells like
Like cleaning supplies, but it's honestly not as bad as people make it out to be.
It's the shock of it the first time that disorients people. If you're outside you really just need to walk five feet up wind and you're fine.
Which is why the people living by ICE detention centers have it so bad. They're not outside, but trace amounts seep into their homes because it's deployed nightly in response to peotests., and it just hangs out in their homes.
I wonder if they can sue the city for the pollution problem ICE brings to their neighborhood?
Are they using EPA approved tear gas?
Lawsuits require a functional legal system...
I mean, there's already a lawsuit because it's chemical weapons....
