My greatest achievement as a parent was convincing the kids that hand lotion was basically a magical healing salve. Every single complaint about ouchies and my ___ hurts miraculously goes away with a simple application of store brand lotion.

Poition master!
That reminds me of quite the strange story. I moved to Switzerland right when covid started, and suddenly needed my vaccination card. So I phoned up my mum to located it and send it to me. She did find it, but when looking at it, she noticed that my tetanus and diphtherie vaccination were overdue. I acknowledged it but really didn't think much more of it.
A couple of days later I receive a package from my mum. Inside is my vaccination card and a cooling pack. Wrapped inside that was a tetanus/diphtherie vaccine bottle, a syringe and a needle. Oh yeah, my mum is a nurse. Still, I was not expecting that and I was absolutely not about to give myself a shot. I really don't know what she was thinking.
Anyway ... I had the stuff lying around, so during one lunch break at the office, I went to the paediatrician that was in the same building and told her the situation. And to my surprise she was like "yeah, no problem, I can give you the shot". And she did.
But she used her own needle, which was a paediatrician's needle .. I literally couldn't even feel it (which is actually scary). Anyway .... after I was all done, I got a little bandage with an elephant on my arm.
So that doctor injected you with stuff whose origin she did not know? Bold.
Yeah, that was what suspired me. But I guess it was a properly labelled bottle, even had one of those stickers you could pull off and put directly into the vaccination card. But yeah ... bold.
Haha one thing we learnt from daycare was a cold cloth. Literally just a cloth (e.g. face cloth) run under cold water. Get hurt, put a cold cloth on it. It's itchy, do you want a cold cloth? Fall and hurt your pride? Put a cold cloth on it.
Band aids are hardly ever needed, sorry about hurting the profits.
Same with tissues and mum's spit for other stuff. Anything is better than nothing. 😄
I wish I was more active so I had an excuse to wear dope band-aids 😔
Live your dreams! Nobody knows what's under there, just go nuts with the whole box like a kindergartner who's just figured out how to peel the tabs by themselves. Just, if you get the urge to band-aid your nips, try to be sure your areolas are under the not-sticky part.
