This deal doesn't really sound great to me, at high level. So India gets Uranium, and Canada gets.... a branch of an India AI firm, which is likely to aid in their surveillance / espionage in Canada. Those are seemingly the two big items in the 'trade'.

Great to have stronger ties with India. Shame it's still Modi, but I'm sure this will outlast him. Hopefully this doesn't do effectively the same thing as the US trade deal does (I don't think so at the outset!).

We need to take Indian people in exchange it seems, likely to deal with their large imbalance of male to female.

Its a great culture, we should all be glad for it to come here.
