Yea with all these simulator game being popular, i can't see why a tree-felling sim wooden get as much praise as powerwashing sim.
Farm Simulator has a bunch of tree farming content in the base game
Valheim is basically that, with the added fun of occasionally being squished by a troll

RUST has a pretty fun "minigame" where you have to connect certain points with each axe chop/chainsaw cut to quickly fall the tree, always wondered why that hasn't been poached for other games.

I’m sorry, this looks like a gorgeous game, I would love it, but it is potentially devastatingly worse for the environment. Of course this depends on hell ventilation and demon methane output
