What if the two depicted men are wildly homophobic themselves?
Trump and Putin will never see OP's shirt, and if they ever do they will not care. There are plenty of thick-skinned gay adults out there who might still find the shirt funny (Heck, OP might be one of them) but there are just as many impressionable and insecure young gay people.
You know these two guys rape children, they've ruined the economies of entire nations, they've killed millions between the two of them and possibly destabilized the entire world. They're handing you so much material to actually be angry at but sure let's drag homosexuality some more.
It's only an insult to them, which is the point.
