Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

If you are that worried that using a product with a gay promotional sign is going to turn you gay, you're already gay.
I seriously think this is it. One of my childhood friends went full maga, but there were signs early. I remember how performative he was about his hate for sour cream and mayo, because of the similar hue to ejaculate. Dude legit feigned gagging one time at Taco Bell. He could've had a career as an actor if only it wasn't woke.
I got some clearance rainbow shoelaces shopping with my elderly aunt one time and she was like "people are going to think you're gay." And my legit reaction was "so?" Things that literally make no difference to me in my day to day life. Meanwhile you're saying straight dudes can't enjoy :: checks my notes:: fucking colors? Yeah fuck all the way off with that. Imma eat and wear whatever the fuck I want.

Anyone who says that being gay is a choice is gay. I can only use myself as an example. I'm not gay and it wasn't a choice.

Exactly. If you are making a choice between straight or gay, then you are gay, because a straight person NEVER questions it. They're just straight.
I remember the first time I heard about it as a choice, and I was confused. I assumed that all people felt the same as me, they just like who they like, and don't question it. But if some people feel they have to make a choice, that means they feel gay, but are making the choice to ignore/suppress it, and live straight.
I really feel bad for those lost people. Embrace your Self.
I mean we have a word for people who are able to comfortably choose between men and women. It's bi and it's a dick move to ask them to choose one gender to date.

The pork thing seems a lot more ingrained than the alcohol thing. Wonder if it has something to do with trichinosis.
Pigs are genetically really close to humans, so there's a lot of nasty stuff that can infect pigs that are transferable to humans. Probably way more cases of people getting parasites or diseases from pork than other protein sources in times past.
i mean historically speaking that's probably a decent chunk of the reason for pork being against the dietary rules for those religions.
Maybe their invisible sky-Daddy just wanted to deny them the joys of bacon and crackling?

Kind of a tradition thing for me and my siblings. If you grew up thinking it's unedible then it becomes weird to eat.
For example most people from US would not eat cat meat even if they were given $10 to do it. No religious idea there it's just "culturally unedible."
This is different from octopus etc which are more so in "I didn't know people ate it but I was never told it can't be" or "neutral" territory.
Tbh, I’ve also known a lot of Jews who will eat a cheeseburger or shrimp, but not pork.
I grew up Catholic, but my dad can’t digest pork, so we never ate it or had it in the house growing up (turns out I can’t digest it either, which I didn’t learn until I inadvertently ate some at a restaurant as an adult). I’m now a vegan and I enjoy meat alternatives, but I have zero interest in anything that tries to seem like any pork products. I once got some ground fake meat that I thought was supposed to be beeflike, but it was modeled on pork and I had to give away the chili I had made because I couldn’t stomach it.
It’s a very strong taste and smell, so if you don’t grow up with it, it’s probably not something that actually appeals to you past curiosity about the whole bacon meme (it was way too heavy and the umami equivalent of sickly sweet imo and got stuck in my teeth more than I expected it to)

If you're looking at the minority that is specifically: "Men in western society who are Muslim in the same way Trump is Christian" then maybe.
Otherwise, the majority of Muslims do not drink alcohol.
With regards to the sexuality, then yes. There are a large number of Muslim men who are repressed LGBTQ individuals that are afraid of what their community might do to them. All of this is while Saudi Arabia also has full educational tracks segregated by gender worsening the sexual confusion of all minors, in addition to leading to abusive relationships (many of which involve minor sexual abuse).
It’s wild that no one’s pushed back on this. Most Muslims drink and have sex with other men? That’s a preposterous and bigoted claim.
Statista sucks, so this is the clearest archive version I can find, but in France, a western country with a well integrated Muslim population and a significant drinking culture, the largest demographic of Muslim drinkers were those over 50 at 30%, whereas those under 25 were at 15%, and presumably the 25-50 year olds look to drink at a rate of ~22-25%
I think if you look, not hard - just use your eyes like normal, you’ll find that idiot assholes come in all shapes, sizes, sexes, colors, religions, political/sexual orientation, whatever.
LOL as far as I know, there aren't levels of haram. I don't think you can pick and choose.
Try explaining to a Christian fundamentalist that if gays have to be executed so do unfaithful spouses

Reminds me of an old friend of mine. Happy to get schlammered every weekend, but would get offended and take it personally if he was offered a ham sandwich or some bacon.
To them it's like God might forgive them if they commit a mass murder, but not if they eat pork.

Since this is a picture of a liquor store with labeling in English, I'm guessing "their government" is in Washington DC. Or maybe London.
I'm not happy with everything their government is doing, either, but it's not easy to change.
It's nice you remember the original commenter there are Muslims outside of the middle-east, and this shop may well be outside in the middle east, but it's unlikely it is Washington DC or Londen considering nobody would get a bottle for $799.99 or £799.99.
