This author is a fucking crackhead seriously.

The president and his allies will face impeachments, lawsuits, and maybe even The Hague.

What are you even talking about? He is rich, he will just chill for the rest of his life in some mansion. He will "face" nothing, his lawyers will do that for him.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 hours ago

And, while it's theoretically possible, the US House has never impeached someone who has left office.

But I am not convinced as to whether he'll face justice or not. You may be right, but there's a non-zero chance that he'll be held accountable in some way.

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Just like how prince Andrew is. Right.,? He's being held accountable for the treason and sex crimes. Right ?

Surely.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He's only charged with leaking state secrets. The pedophile class would never actually prosecute one of their own for crimes they themselves are guilty of.

I believe all multi millionaires+ are pedophiles. They're not exactly doing a great job proving me wrong considering they run everything and we've seen dick and all from them attempting to punish it beyond words.

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 5 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Big difference between a Millionaire and a Billionaire though. I do not think multi millionaires are pedophiles. Hell you could have that owning a house in some cities.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 3 points 5 days ago

True. I forget my mom just passed that and she's a teacher. My frame of reference is a little skewed cause I'm kinda poor.

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 2 points 6 days ago

Yeah, Dump'll get the same punishment and have to change his name to Mar-a-montwittenbangerbum for the rest of his life.

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 3 points 5 days ago

Also the US will literally declare war on the EU if the hague comes for any of its precious little sociopaths

[–] Carmakazi@piefed.social 18 points 6 days ago (8 children)

He will commit suicide before relinquishing the Oval Office is my guess.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 hours ago

Well, at least then he'll have killed Trump. That's something socially beneficial.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 12 points 6 days ago

I prefer he be Mussolinied.

[–] gh0stb4tz@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Stop. I can only get so erect…

[–] unexposedhazard@discuss.tchncs.de 13 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Nah man that does nothing for me. Suicide is the most peaceful way out he could possibly ask for. Its a tragedy that Hitler managed to kill himself before being publicly skinned alive.

[–] lemmy_outta_here@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It’s Trump. He’ll botch it.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 hours ago

Ideally, he'll do a Robespierre and shoot part of his face off, but survive to face justice.

[–] I_Jedi@lemmy.today 5 points 6 days ago

If we go by Shattered Union canon, Trump and a sizable portion of Congress will be killed by a nuclear weapon during his 3rd term inauguration, secretly masterminded by Russia.

[–] evenglow@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Isn't he building a bunker under the ballroom?

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

The price tag suggests a Palantir data center, much like the hardened data centers they sole Israel a few years ago.

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 3 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I’d much prefer a massive heart attack during one of his dumbass rallies. Kills him instantly while collapsing at the podium. His poorly fitted pants falling down as he falls face first into the ground. The sound of his death shits rattling through a mostly empty arena, and red hatted supporters behind him are sprayed by copious amounts of McDonalds and Diet Coke fueled diarrhea. He’ll probably fucking die on the toilet, but I can dream for a moment like this, can’t I?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 hours ago

A stroke causing a massive seizure would be better, especially if it's followed by more of the same until the one with his name on it finally arrives.

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He won't be able to do that.

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago

He's a coward, he won't do it.

[–] joyjoy@lemmy.zip 1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

F's to the guy who will eventually end up killing Trump.

[–] greyscale@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 6 days ago

Every day the whitehouse pharmacists roll the dice with him dying on their watch and ending up the scapegoat.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 10 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (2 children)

I would not be surprised if he dies in office, regardless if it's less than 4 years or not.

But when it comes to all those around him that enable(d) all these horrors, no effort should be spared in going after them in every possible legal way: Bondi, Noem, Miller, Bannon, Stone, just every single one of them, if still alive, should have constant "lawfare" leveled at them.

The Republicans will never learn any lessons otherwise. Basically nothing happened to any of them the first time around (and for Nixon and for Ronnie Raygun) so they got even worse.

Also, we need to have some carve-outs for pardons for assholes that work for a party and do crimes on their behalf - if you are in prison for doing crimes as a Republican politician in the interest of carrying out the Republican platform, no Republican president should be able to pardon you.

Right now, this would only apply to Republicans, since they are the only ones doing this kind of thing.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 8 hours ago

no effort should be spared in going after them in every possible legal way

And more.

[–] PowerCrazy@lemmy.ml 3 points 5 days ago (1 children)

If you only attempt to prosecute the current executive branch, you will end up in a worse position over time. Corporations that participated in the open corruption by donating to his swearing in must be held accountable, criminally. The senators and congressmen who supported his obviously unconstitutional policies must be removed from office at the very least. The judges at all levels who very obviously ignored the constitution in pursuit of a fascist agenda with i'm sure a large quantity of kick-backs have to be disbarred.

Obviously this would require a complete overhaul of the existing structure and so has absolutely no chance of happening, but in reality, it's the only "lawful" way to stop the continuous slide to right and perhaps allow justice to prevail for the next few decades.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 hours ago

Well, yeah, and why not boil the ocean while you're at it?

Consider what justice might look like with finite time and resources. That's the best we'll get.

[–] mvilain@fedia.io 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

This assumes he doesn't die in office. How many Wiccans and cardiologists are preying for a blood clot?

[–] daannii@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

Honestly considering taking up witchcraft just to see if I can help the cause.

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

How in the fuck are there still serious people that think he will give up power willingly. He’s either going to. die in office during this term or illegally stay in office for reasons that are made up. This is a dictatorship

[–] theneverfox@pawb.social 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He hasn't stabilized his rule. The maga coalition is falling apart all on it's own

Will Trump wiggle out of real consequences? Probably. There will definitely be election fuckery.

But the maga coalition failed to grab the crown, and does not hold the keys to power. That's even more important for a dictator, because they don't have the legitimacy democracy grants leaders

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Shittier rulers have lasted longer.

[–] theneverfox@pawb.social 1 points 5 days ago

They really haven't.. at least not if by shitty you mean incompetent

[–] ClassStruggle@lemmy.ml 4 points 5 days ago (1 children)

The oligarchy will never charge one of their own.

[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 2 points 5 days ago

They do keep a small cluster of fauxligarchy about so they can feed one to the mob when it looks like a les mis is around the corner. Trump strikes me as one of these.

[–] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 7 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He'll never pay for his crimes because he's rich and white. There's only one way that people like that get punished...and I'm not allowed to say what that is...because Americans are pussies. I'm an American, so fuck you...Americans are pussies. Otherwise, we wouldn't be in this situation.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 6 days ago

Violence? You can say that. Here check it out.

I think trump should experience violence, as should all pedophiles. Punch Nazis in the face.

This isn't the bad place.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

He’s an obese 80 year old

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago
[–] Aeri@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He can have a post presidential rest in peace...

[–] Zier@fedia.io 2 points 6 days ago

Actually he can't because there will be a constant line of people pissing on his grave.
