Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
I’ve always been a Red Bull guy because the taste of Monster made me nauseated. But recently I’ve tried the White flavor and it tastes so good.
Shouldn’t have written off other flavors so easily.
Also who tf gonna think this is an ad lmao everyone on here already knows Monster who cares
It's interesting to me how Red Bull/Monster fans describe their experiences with the other brand. I say that as a Monster fan that literally gagged the first time I had a Red Bull.
But similar to your concession about the White Monster flavor, I would give props to the Red/Blue editions of Red Bull. When I gave them a try, I was prepared to have a similar reaction as I did with the original, but I was pleasantly surprised.
It's good to find common ground. :)
Yeah I think once you have a bad reaction to the original it’s inconceivable that the different flavors are SO different. You just connect that flavor profile to the whole brand. Which also kinda makes sense due to how weird energy drinks taste unlike ""real"" flavors like banana or strawberry.
I don't think I've tried an ED that I didn't like yet
I haven't played VR Chat in at least 5 years, the Great Pug just gave me war flashbacks

Cute avi !!!!! :3

tried this flavour today
I'm a fan
ive purchased my first "monster" thingy yesterday. didnt drink it yet.... it looks intimidating.
(never drank any energy drink stuff at all)
Just keep in mind the safe limits of drinking caffeine and remember to stay hydrated (also drink water). Most monster cans have 160mg of caffeine, and the safe limit for an adult is roughly 400-500mg a day.
oooo which one? >:)
ummm the strawberry one.
If it's the black can with the red "strawberry" stripe at the top, you might start with half if you don't want to hear your heart.
hearing ur heart is reasonably normal I believe -
this isn't my fault, right?😐
............... yes it is.
really tho. i wouldnt have gotten this thing if it werent for u posting about it.

EDIT: also, mygosh these things are huge. i thought they were the kind of red-bull size orrrr umm... like cola stuff or fanta whatever... but no, these are huuuge- like what?..... gosh.... and i will have to drink all that....
you could watch the kidney stone episode of the Cells at Work! Code Black anime cause that scared me enough that I stopped drinking that stuff for a while
Just put that phenylalanine right in my veins!
I'm fine with all the other random chemicals in monsters but draw the line at artificial sweeteners.
why the fuck is redbubble recommending me minster energy anime bimbopill content I'm crine

It's an indicator that your adblocking or privacy protections need to be reviewed. Some app on your phone is likely selling your activity to a data broker.
Yummy monster nitro
I personally think Monster Energy tastes terrible and I would never drink it.
