What was the old conservative rallying cry? 'Kill your local pedophile'?

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 26 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I just know one of those DOGE sneaky little fuckers has the digital files on one of their hard drives while they were there stealing data hand over fist under the guise of saving a few bucks.

And it’s been handed over to Musk, so he has some insurance and leverage.

The guards who were supposed to check on him that night were online shopping after receiving large bank deposits days earlier...

If Biden had just investigated this shit when president it likely would have stopped trump. And he might have even been in jail before the last election.

There's just so many different single things he could have done to prevent this, but that geriatric fuck we all held our noses for seemed to intentionally make the least popular decision with Dem voters at every opportunity.

We can't afford to settle for someone like him again, we need someone that will actually fight like we need to.

Biden is why we have Trump.

[–] banshee@lemmy.world 16 points 5 hours ago

We could have had Sanders... Arghh

100%. Trump had just launched a violent, deadly Insurrection a couple weeks before the Inauguration. Biden would have been fully legally and Constitutionally justified in stepping off the podium after his swearing in, and ordering the arrests of every MAGA in the Trump Administration as National Security Threats, which they were.

They should have been shipped off to Guantanamo Bay for extensive interrogation, where they would be cut off from the media, their lifeblood. We would have uncovered the False Electors Plot (off to Gitmo for them), and the Stolen Classified Documents Scheme. All of them should have been denied bond, and remained in their dungeons, until they could be tried for their Sedition and Treason.

But Biden decided to appoint The most feckless Republican in history to be his AG, who them dithered and slow-walked the cases, giving Trump a Two year head start in running out the clock.

MAGA survived and stole back the power, entirely because Biden, and the cowardly Democratic legislature, allowed them to.

Also, Biden should never have run for a second term. Nobody wanted it.

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 22 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

He had initially promised a single term as well.

[–] Vegan_Joe@piefed.world 8 points 5 hours ago

Well, he inadvertently kept that promise...

[–] entropiclyclaude@lemmy.wtf 8 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

“No ItS tHe LeFIsTs and BeRniE BrOs”

What we should campaign - pronouns. Because that’s what those 90,000 twitter bot accounts said.

Not creating laws or upholding existing ones to prevent fascism. Not arresting powerful elite pedophiles. Not taxing the corporations or the rich. Not education. Not healthcare. Not affordable housing. Not ensuring people have food. Not climate. Not fixing flint Michigan. Not giving billionaires welfare.

Fucking democrats man.

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 10 points 7 hours ago

The democrats in power are the ones telling us progressives like Bernie and Mahmdani aren’t electable. But they’ve never had the opportunity. 2020 was a sham primary meant to prevent Bernie from winning.

[–] FE80@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Obama is why we had Biden.

[–] danc4498@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago

It’s not Obama’s fault Biden ran for a second term.

Just reiterating that Epstein didn't kill himself.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.dbzer0.com 41 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Nah, at this point its hard to not believe he was killed by Trump

[–] Warl0k3@lemmy.world 25 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago) (1 children)

Might not have been trump that pulled the trigger just given how comically huge the crowd of people who wanted him dead was.

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.dbzer0.com 28 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago) (6 children)

No but we know the FBI testimony about Trump forcing a child's mouth onto his cock and punching her for her laughing got diverted and not filed for nearly twice as long as it mandated to be filed, and finally got filed the day before Epstein was offed. That Trump discussed blackmail with Epstein during that time period, and that the feds shut down the investigation into Epstein's properties... Someone in the federal government with enough power to enact it had to be the culprit, and they certainly had to be doing it at his behest

I could see a scenario where he was given the opportunity to kill himself.

What documents, I wonder? It's not like there's going to be forms documenting "hey we killed this guy" that need to be shredded, we already have suspicious visitor logs and the medical records and so forth, like... what would they have wanted to shred? And why shred it there, instead of just taking it as part of the investigation and disappearing it like they did with so many other documents?

[–] zeejoo@thelemmy.club 3 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

My guess is JE was writing in his cell, either letters to friends for help, or to Ghislane to release blackmail, or to the media to do the same. Once he was dead they destroyed any paper in his cell and any communications he'd had with anyone.

[–] Warl0k3@lemmy.world 1 points 57 minutes ago

Maybe, but we have many of the papers that were found in his cell (and there's all kinds of conspiracy theories about them). Why there would have been 4-5 bags worth of hardcopies of his communications laying around is the question I have - that would be an incredible amount of written communication for him to have laying around.
