But yeah, I agree.
The headline specifically said she blasted their heads. Didn’t say what with, though. I’m imagining a firehose.
I am sick of getting blasted in the ass by these big oil companies in their top hats and rotten ass ploughing hearts, I say it's time to lube up, and do a little ploughing of our own!

Damm don't read the article you'll be disappointed she isn't blasting them with a shotgun.
She just said it like it is and actually specifically called out US oil companies operating here. Not an accurate headline.
As long as she's harshly critical, it's a perfectly valid use of "blasts." It's just not the particular dictionary definition many of us would have preferred, apparently. Convenient sentence phrasing like "blasts the heads" does make me think the writer is wanting to create a certain image though. 😄
Gee, I wonder why private companies are reluctant to build pipelines. Any reasons come to mind?
