I will get downvoted for this but I'm vegan and I find it disgusting how we enslaved innocent intelligent species, raise and breed them in bad stressful conditions, only for a short moment of fun for the duration of eating the meal after slaughtering them at scale, and then we have the audacity to use the name of those same species as a slur for people doing horrible things. It's so incredibly incredibly hypocrytical that I can't help but be disappointed in people with such views fighting against the abuse and oppression for themselves when they do much worse to species that can't defend themselves...
