I don't find this funny, I find it terrifying. We know he's a narcissist but I'm wondering if ge sees himself as a deity. He did this cos he thought he'd get away with it. Does he think he inspires religious fervour?
Narcissism often comes with an aspect of omnipotence, this idea that they must know all there is to know because the idea that something might be outside their sphere of knowledge would make them imperfect and since they believe they are perfect beyond reproach it would be impossible for it to be true. They really do believe they know everything and if you say otherwise it’s because you’re stupid and wrong.
All narcissists believe they are a deity in the sense their world view is what they believe to be omnipotent which is a trait only a deity could have.
I wonder if he does genuinely believe he has godly powers, or is Jesus himself. I wouldn't put it past him
