Derangement keeps me from starting to write a new idea until I'm finished with the first idea. I'm not finished with the first idea. Start new notebook so I won't have to.

I have about 12 notebooks and I can't remember what's in any of them.

Cycle : idea -- cigarette -- tuning the idea until it is more or less realistic -- writing down -- cigarette -- 1st attempt of implementing -- cigarette -- (N attempts and cigarettes later) -- proof-of-concept prototype -- beer -- sleep. Repeat from the start.
