I haven't been able to stomach it for maybe 8 years, but I used to really enjoy seeing people come up with clever solutions for annoying problems. There were plenty of people who made some little gadget in their garage and needed seed money to produce it at scale. The show sort of devolved into a tech bros who made a new app, and who didn't actually need investors but were looking for some free exposure.
The wacky sales pitches can be entertaining, but everything with the parasites on society are awful.
I don’t know the stats, but maybe it’s free advertising/exposure to TV audiences even if you don’t get a deal?

I couldn't bring myself to watch 'Marty Supreme' just because O'Leary was in it. Thankfully there are a billion other movies out there, both old and new, that I could watch.
He gets cucked in it though. It was a fun movie.
