Ice been thinking more about that quote, and realizing I like characters in media that exemplify it.
People who don’t just say “I don’t want to fight” to look humble, but because they view any battle as a tragedy of destruction - but could still wipe the floor with anyone.
So often, the “big stick” part of the quote is viewed with importance and finality, when the beginning about walking softly is perhaps more important.
I dunno, Trump looks like he carries two big dicks pretty regularly ..
