At a first glance at the top panel, I thought the girl has a really big mustache.

[–] Widdershins@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Her dad Bob definitely does have a big mustache so your instincts aren't far off.

[–] prettybunnys@piefed.social 6 points 1 month ago

the girl

Louise, put some respect on her name.

[–] Velypso@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

Is this a real quote from the show?

I could definitely see louise saying something like this, but i dont recall it.

I want my community built exclusively from bricks that have been thrown at fascists

[–] BluJay320@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Providing they are still structurally sound, of course

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (2 children)

nah, fascists have no spine

[–] kkj@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 month ago

But they have extremely thick skulls. Plus, it's going to hit the ground at some point. Bricks are brittle.

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

(in the tone of 'the verizon guy')

Because of the brick pelting? Good.

In the spirit of Marsha P Johnson, I see one brick

Let it fly! 🏳️‍🌈

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It is if you share it.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It said I have both inside me! So yes. If I only have one, I'll build. Then I can go confront fascists and count on my inner coward to shit bricks I can throw at them

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

Can't build much with only one brick...

Also, this is gold:

and count on my inner coward to shit bricks I can throw at them

[–] CH3DD4R_G0BL1N@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 month ago
[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 6 points 1 month ago

they're the same thing?

[–] benderbeerman@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Corporate would like you to find the difference between these two bricks...

[–] baggachipz@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] Taleya@aussie.zone 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You can do both, they're bricks

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 2 points 1 month ago

But I'm gonna need a lot of them. The Nazis have increased in number

[–] s@piefed.world 4 points 1 month ago

False binary

[–] Jake_Farm@sopuli.xyz 4 points 1 month ago (5 children)

The problem is that each person gets one brick and thus can only pick one. If you choose to throw the brick, not only do you no longer have it, it will also likely break or chip.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Bricks are like $.80 apiece. Hell, you can just find two bricks.

[–] LostCarcosan@lemmy.today 4 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Yeah but it just said you have two bricks.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 month ago

It's Schrödinger's brick. It's only two bricks until you find out which brick it really is.

[–] Jake_Farm@sopuli.xyz 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It also said they are inside you...

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Oh yeah, brick me daddy

[–] DrakeAlbrecht@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Build community by throwing bricks at fascists!

[–] socsa@piefed.social 2 points 1 month ago

Bricks are recyclable!

[–] Jake_Farm@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Y'all are missing the metaphor

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Man, there are now four Metas? I hate this timeline...

[–] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

I always love this one but I would like it updated. Maybe a crossover from one of the memes that says "and they’re both gay."

[–] ThatGuyNamedZeus@feddit.org 3 points 1 month ago

don't take the bait if you see a neatly stacked supply of bricks at a protest.

[–] DmMacniel@feddit.org 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Lets grease the brick before we use it to build something :)

[–] kivihiili@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 month ago

the technical term is "buttering the brick", and as an added bonus, mortar is colloquially called "mud"! hehe

[–] KingCake_Baby@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Both. Both are good.

[–] M137@lemmy.today 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Best solution: throw the bricks at fascists and then used those, including the fascist blood, to build! You can mix the blood with mortar to fix the bricks that broke when thrown at the fascists.

[–] VanRayInd@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Idk... building a community sounds like a lot of work and my taco bell order is about to come out

[–] db2@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

They're the same brick.
