I just wish we could all admit that both sides will try to "cancel" a swathe of stuff with which they disagree.

I disagree. For example I'm cancelling Rowling as I don't want to give her more money to hurt kids with and I encourage others to do the same which, by definition, is cancel culture.

If you don't want to get cancelled, don't be an ass is my motto.
