I hope someone dumps invasive floating plants in next. Perhaps even some duckweed.
Duckweed? The thing Huey, Dewey and Louie smoke to get high?
The whole thing would be covered in duck weed in a month, fortunately that would cause all the algae in the water to die from lack of sunlight so problem solved I suppose.
We cannot survive this
It's all part of the Liberal Transgender Environmental Movement that wants every person to switch genders and use litter boxes.
Whatever floats their boat, right?
I can't help but think they could have just chlorinated the fucking water no? Turned it into a filtered pool. They did what? a multi-million dollar paintjob?
Alternatively, the Orange Idiot thinks that he can offset the cost overruns by skimping on chlorine.
Trump gave the algae water. Everyone knows he should have given them Brawndo. It has electrolytes.
I really don't understand why this is so much of a problem in a completely open to sunlight, very shallow pool if the proper precautions are taken. The amount of sunlight/UV coming in at the pool shouldn't even support such an algal bloom with some proper care like making sure nutrient influx is low or filtered out - they even have an ozone system for the water. Just making sure that not only one type of algae has proper living conditions should fix that shit by natural competition.
Although i don't know what the blue paint did to the pool, because i am sure noone tested that before - the scientific method is sadly out in the US.
new that would end in shit that reflecting pond has always been a miquito den and always will be
Anyone know if they use chloramine for treatment? Very likely as chlorine doesn't do well against UV. It would be funny if they somehow pumped directly from the Potomac.
