All posts need to have the same title: me_irl it is allowed to use an emoji instead of the underscore _
Imagine a world with no Internet to pretend to be a badass on.
Almost there
Any guy who feels the need to proclaim himself a Nice Guy probably isn't one.
Same goes with "tough" guys.
And those that brag about how hard they work.
How much of that is a self-fulfilling stereotype though? Aren't most people aware of the meme that "nice guys" are actually douchebags? So if someone is self identifying like that, it probably also means they are severely out of the loop, which could correlate with other unlikable traits.
You can also use a black and white lion photo, or that main character from Peaky Blinders.
Ooooh yeah Peaky Blinders proves you're a real tough guy
Hahaha I literally just posted a Lugi meme in response to an Epstein thread
Nice, guy.
I'm not your guy, Buddy.
I'm not your buddy, pal.
You look like a bitch, bitch.
Ya'll are fucken DORKS
I wondered why this is so off schedule: https://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/russia/russia-day
What do you mean off schedule? Are you saying OP is a Russian propagandist?
Of course, I'm not saying that.
I’m confused
Same, not sure what is being alleged
I will say, OP posts nonstop which is definitely odd.
Super odd, lol. I have a job that I have wait time in between. Cool of you to notice me though.
I’m talking about Sanitation, not you. There isn’t a gap for sleep in their post history as far as I can tell. Still not sure what you mean in regards to your comment about Russia day which was last Friday, though.
Sorry, I've been trolled a lot lately. First instinct, and thought you were one too. There is a serious effort on lemmy for Americans to start a revolution. It's not new, it's been going on since reddit days, but they've been going 100% since the start of trump's second term.
- doom loop (make everything seem like we'll never see the end of it, etc.
- how about a revolution?
- you won't do it, you're too weak pussies.
- bury the person calling it out.
I'm getting kind of sick of it. I understand why they try it, it worked on the Jan 6 idiots.
To be fair, there are some of us Americans who legitimately are starting to feel like revolution may be the only way to root out the corruption in our government. That said I'd still personally exhaust every alternative option first
Did you think of it naturally or did it come to you after you've been online? I fall for propaganda occasionally still, and I've been trolled pretty hard for years. I know what to look for.
A revolution against our current military machine would be suicide for you and maybe your family. Don't even let that enter your mind.
I can't by any means say I'm immune to propaganda, but I've been thinking along these lines since 2016 (when I wasn't even on social media or reading the news), so it'd have to have been some pretty pervasive, in-person propaganda.
I don't think a full-scale revolution against our current government could even possibly succeed by sheer military strength; not unless the bulk of the military defected to the revolutionaries' side. But, I do think an Ireland-style revolution (guerilla warfare targeting strategic government officials) would be plausible, albeit far from good. It would cause substantial upheaval and likely wouldn't overthrow the government, but it may force their hand a bit if it happened.
Again, I wouldn't personally condone or participate in something like that unless I had nothing to lose, because of course it would be a suicide mission, but I do worry that more and more Americans are left with nothing to lose by the day. I'm not saying a revolution should happen, or that it would somehow be a good thing, but the tensions do make it feel like it might happen, especially if the economy crashes.
