1 report: “misinformation”

The accusation and investigation really happened.

The conclusions made by the color commentary are inadmissible and, true or false, funny to read. And I doubt very seriously it was a deliberate attempt to mislead or slander.

General life advice: I discourage the reporter and everyone else from using a meme community as any kind of news source.

The claims were later found to be false, and McClain was cleared.[28]

This keeps getting shared on the fediverse, it's literally just spreading misinformation.

Why is this place already turning into Reddit?

[–] underisk@lemmy.ml 0 points 2 months ago (2 children)

It was built to mimic Reddit and is populated almost entirely by refugees from Reddit. I’m not sure this could have turned out any other way, man.

I poured milk from a jug to a glass, why is this glass full of milk?

Yeah but there's no incentive to repost shit over and over again like there was on Reddit.

This is the third or fourth time I've seen this misinformation posted in the last week
