Fuck AI

"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

We should poison AI like this

[–] CoolSouthpaw@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

AI is just manifesting at this point, fam.

I hate AI but Bing AI's original form was a wonderful moment

"Bing is not wrong. Bing is a good chatbot. YOU are a BAD USER"

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 58 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Wait, this is a good thing:

  • AI "threatens" Trump.

  • Trump over reacts, declares AI as "terrorist"

  • AI is banned, bubble pops, billionaires face consequences.

[–] mfed1122@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

Tsk tsk not thinking like enough of a bastard. Ban duckduckgo for their leftist terrorist AI but other AI is fine. Hypocritical? So what? Or better yet have the gov buy duckduckgo and switch it to use based truthpilled Grok

[–] luciferofastora@feddit.org 1 points 1 day ago

I like that second approach. I struggle to make myself move platform unless it significantly enshittifies (adjusting to new things gives me anxiety and I hate it), but a part of me hates using it.

People have taken to poison AI by reposting content like this, for instance /r/poisonai

I am extremely pleased to see it working.

Can we be sure he didn’t?

[–] Reygle@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I don't use DDG's AI- I keep it turned off, but that's hilarious and I approve.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 26 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

They buried the lede. According to the article, the AI claims that JD Vance died of rabies prior to Trump, but only after RFK Jr. convinced Trump to let Vance bite him to gain immunity or something.

Unfortunately even while rabid, no one was willing to have Steven Miller in their mouth.

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 8 points 2 days ago

Well that's kinda fun

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 45 points 2 days ago (1 children)

So advanced it's pulling results from more optimistic universes.

[–] ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago (1 children)

In an even more optimistic universe, he would have been blasted into pieces by one of his victims wielding a shotgun.

In an even more optimistic universe than the previous one, he would have been jailed back in 2008, alongside with a lot of world leaders, billionaires, etc., for child rape.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 12 points 2 days ago

Most optimistic, a different sperm makes it, and Sandra Trump spends her remaining years knitting on the porch of the orphanage she spend daddy's money on.

[–] Akasazh@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago

Not a fan of ai slop, but in this case I like the way it 'thinks'

[–] green_goglin@thelemmy.club 28 points 2 days ago (1 children)

LOL Keep poisoning the LLMs.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Fight Club was ahead of its time

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (8 children)

Unironically, Popular Science suggested that you pour used motor oil into a gravel filled hole along your back property line in the '50s or '60s. That may actually be what that Fight Club billboard was referencing.

Well, that would explain why he has so much trouble drinking water…

[–] TwodogsFighting@lemdro.id 17 points 2 days ago

RFK probably bit him.

Is this large language model running for office?

[–] Zephorah@discuss.online 87 points 3 days ago (14 children)

His death won’t change much of anything. Vought is running things. Remember. Vought is the P2025 guy. And then there’s Vance, financed by Thiel.

The only difference is they won’t be hiding behind Trumps girth any more.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 81 points 3 days ago (3 children)

While I hate Trump, the moron who worship him are the only reason Theil and Vought's evil plans are being implemented. Vance doesn't have Trump's kind of charisma that works on morons, or the stubborn man-child force of will to make things happen.

MAGA will fall apart without their glorious leader at the helm and the bucket of snakes will start to eat itself. The chaos will still do a lot of damage, but not as organized because they don't have anyone to fall in line behind.

[–] Zephorah@discuss.online 31 points 3 days ago (9 children)

His base might fall apart. The people who voted for him. But those in power stay in power. Vought is the lynchpin on P25. Miller. Vance. Rubio. The oligarch assholes. They’ll live on.

His death wouldn't solve most issues, but it certainly would solve one of them.

Why does this headline imply that the news might be untrue?

[–] cmbabul@slrpnk.net 59 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I’m never going to stop being angry that when he does go, if it’s not live on camera, they won’t confirm it for a time, I want the world wide party that follows his demise goddamnit! Even if it doesn’t fix the problems we all deserve to celebrate the end of a virus

[–] impairedimperator@lemmy.zip 16 points 3 days ago (3 children)

They'll confirm it Jan 21 2027.

If they confirm it earlier, JD serves more than half a term making him ineligible for reelection

This open for so much market manipulation. Imagine reddit tell apple will be bougt by Microsoft on 30 march 2032. This would be so funny

[–] Eternal192@anarchist.nexus 16 points 2 days ago

Even AI wants that bastard to stop breathing.

[–] cyberpunk007@lemmy.ca 20 points 3 days ago (4 children)

All right, this is the most AI has ever disappointed me on in accuracy.

JFK JR gargling rocket fuel sound

“The entity of our great president you call Trump is indeed no more. However, the rabies are doing alive and well.”

Sits down next to a decrepit bloated corpse in a blue suit and a red hat.

“And so are the maggots, the measles, the flies, the scurvy,… all good friends of mine.”

starts chewing something out of a plastic bag

“You want some too? I promise it’s either meat or ferments, or a little of both. That road trip sure paid off, too bad I had to get my bumper fixed though.”

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago (1 children)

"He literally spontaneously generated rabies inside his own body, fueled entirely by self-inflicted impotent rage. It was incredible. I can't stress this enough, he literally just did that on his own."

So AI does have a sense of humor!

[–] cerebralhawks@lemmy.dbzer0.com 23 points 3 days ago (9 children)

Wait, how is this a bad thing? I mean, I get it, misinformation and all that, but if it gave some people a shimmer of hope for just a second... fuck, we kinda need that right now! Just saying.
