Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Obama lives in his dementia riddled head rent free

Obama looks like a fun fella to have a talk with, Trump looks like a spoiled rich kid who you just know is obnoxious to talk with

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago

If you need to try to be cool, youre automatically not cool.

He looks and acts like a demented pedophile. That's because he is those things.

[–] TRock@feddit.dk 1 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

True now. But he was not demented and maybe not a pedophile, when that picture was taken.

If he didn't rape you first

The only kind of derangement syndromes that ever made any sense as terms are these: Clinton Derangement Syndrome, Carter Derangement Syndrome (some of the really old fucks spent a lot of their time grumbling about FDR, even), California Derangement Syndrome, and biggest of all: Obama Derangement Syndrome.

The right lost their freaking minds over Obama. They were always a bubbling cauldron of shit, but things got real unhinged when Obama was elected.

When the right talks about "TDS", they are just so full of total shit. Noticing the crimes and incompetence and idiocy and character flaws and the health decline of Donvict is not a goddamned "syndrome" it's someone talking about reality.

Anyone that talked about "long form birth certificates" at length for eight fucking years and beyond loses any right to talk about anyone else having a syndrome, LOL.

TDS exists. Everyone on the right seems to be affected by it.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Oh, absolutely that form of it does. Derangement is a great descriptor of a cult.

The ones that baffle me are those who go on a tirade of things they hate about Trump, and then say that they’ll be really annoyed when they vote for him next time. They’d never change their vote, just scowl and complain

It's always projection. Always.

Biff Tannen vibes on that Dear Leader picture.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

That's who Biff was modeled after. I don't remember right now, but I think the director of BttF offered Trump the role.

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

OMG yes that's what it is!

[–] roofTophopper@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Bro, this guy must wake up in cold sweats and warm filled diapers with nightmares of Obama. I know the right loves the line 'haha, the left is so obsessed with trump. TDS dur", but are they so blind to the fact that Obama haunts Trump everyday of every moment?

Even outside is politics, this guy is digging deep for something he can use to throw shade on Obama. The desperation is super cringy.

[–] Headofthebored@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Just remember that drone striking kids doesn't make Obama a hero anymore than it does Trump.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago

He's like Shitty Walter Mitty.
