MODERATORS

Reports citing emergency dispatch audio said responders were called to McConnell's residence on June 14 for an unconscious patient and later discussed "CPR in progress" for a possible cardiac emergency.

Oh! So, we've escalated from him being found unconscious and rushed to the hospital to active CPR? Wouldn't it have been something if the Republican stance of allowing doctors to decline giving medical care on moral grounds ended up being applied against the interests of the long-term cancer that is McConnell?

I hope he survives. I hope he continues to live a long, long time. I hope this happens to him frequently during that time.

Hopefully he'll get fitted with one of those hellish automatic home defibrillators. You know, because every life is worth fighting for till the very end, for as long as humanly possible. Mitch's life is especially worth it.

That could be pretty effective, but nothing beats manual CPR. At a certain point, someone's hands are going to collapse into a pile of bone dust.

they would put his head in jar if they could.

But think of all the damage he can continue to do

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the CPR was performed on one of his victims instead. I just assume his house is full of slaves and hostages because that's the American GOP way.

Moscow Mitch: You'll never truly experience the equivalence of the pain and damage you've done to this country in the name of corruption and blind party loyalty. Still, I'm glad you'll be gone soon...

Better dead and harmless than alive and a menace

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 2 weeks ago

What does it matter? His whole life he's been a demented asshole. Nothing has changed. He's still a demented asshole and a perfect representation of the republican party. I hope they broke his ribs during CPR.

When the KY Governor went Dem the KY Cons tried to strip his ability to appoint vacant Congress seats. This was overturned in court.

However they did add a rule that the Governor could not replace someone within 95 days of an election.

95 days before 11/3/2026, the midterms, is 7/31/2026. I imagine they will use the "he's recovering" line until 8/1/2026 so the Cons have tighter control over congress. Or at the very least, they are trying to chew up as much time as possible before he gets replaced.

They call him Mitch the Cocaine Turtle for a reason.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Just fucking retire already!

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Big question: Why'd you save his traitor ass?

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Why won't these evil fucks just die?

Rest in gender neutral piss

[–] Catma@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I was unaware piss was gendered....

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I’m of the belief his grave will become a gender neutral bathroom? Is this not a correct line of logic

[–] Catma@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Oh it absolutely will be a gender neutral bathroom. I guess i read it differently thinking piss had some gender associated to it i was not aware of.
