Right. There was a concerted effort to diversify manufacture but that was spearheaded by Biden and Trump made sabotaging anything Biden did a top priority and alienating foreigners trying to open manufacturing in the US a high priority.
Considering _The Administration_â„¢ is gearing up for war and Trump has shown with Iran that he'll bite off more than he can chew, I wouldn't be surprised if China invades, the US half asses backing them up, and the US economy gets bodied by Taiwan putting up a serious fight that they lose. Hell, if Trump dies right before the war, it could be what sinks Vance.
