This has to be due to whales pushing the market up or down, and retail investors trying to keep up, right?
I'm not sure if it's driven more by retail or institutional investors, but either way it's caused a bunch of people who see "strait's closed" in the news and immediately dump their stock. Same thing happened with the tariffs; some people put away too much thought into whatever Trump says.
