One recurring problem is there are a lot of people who don't really want democracy. They want hierarchy. Many of them don't need to be at the top, so long as there are people below them.
It's conservatives. Conservatives are the problem.

Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.

Hurry up before it’s too late.
All you need to do is fix the supreme court and all that shit will be solved in a matter of weeks.
And it's easy too... If a SC justice shows any sign of politicization or partisanship they immediately get removed. Their job is to interpret the constitution and that's all. If people don't like the laws or constitution then what do you know, there's ways to change it right there in the fucking laws and constitution.
It would take most people rising up in protest and resisting to make this happen.
Even on a non-violent level, we’re going to have to fight. Noncompliance works when implementing things like general strikes. Conservatives will buckle when they’re having medical crises and are faced with understaffed hospitals. Or they can’t buy brisket at the local grocery store, because they had to close due to understaffing.
Even if they hate to admit it, were interdependent on one another. If we’re refusing to do our part, that’s going to have a negative impact on them. Most of them aren’t as self-sufficient as they believe they are, even if they own guns.
That's all well and good, but if they don't have guns, this is nothing. It has gone far enough that it will take violence to solve this. Most of us don't want to deal with revolutionary war, so we just let it happen and try to ignore it.
Sounds like Moneyball but for politics. I believe that was a movie, based on a true story, about constructing a baseball team with metrics that would win despite not being one of the teams with the most money.
