What, he's going to find out the youngest age a girl can get pregnant?

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 2 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago) (1 children)

This has been known for all of human history it's around 13

[–] GutterRat42@lemmy.world 2 points 56 minutes ago (1 children)

Pregnant at 4, birth at 5 years old, 7months, 21 days. Youngest pregnancy ever confirmed.

I would like to punch somebody really hard on the face right now. I need a drink. At no point in history should that have ever happened. I feel sick.

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 1 points 55 minutes ago

Goddamn how???

[–] Pollo_Jack@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago

He could by getting all conservatives out of policy making positions, but he is too much of a bitch to do it.

[–] Wataba@sh.itjust.works 10 points 13 hours ago

By driving science away to places it can thrive

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 9 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

Miserable fucking sycophants. He's actually ushering in a dark age worse than the one that followed the burning of the Library of Alexandria.

[–] rizzothesmall@sh.itjust.works 8 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Donald Trump says Donald Trump is a pretty cool guy

[–] Greyghoster@aussie.zone 3 points 10 hours ago

Sadly he is an old man who won’t die soon enough.

[–] Bwaz@lemmy.world 9 points 16 hours ago

Ha, ha, ha

What, they're seriously believing Trump and "science" belong on the same page together?!?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 4 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

he would likely die bathing in water filled with gold particles.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 3 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Drinking molten gold would be more suited to his crimes.

[–] Pollo_Jack@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago

Pour it down, Targaryen style.

[–] Goldholz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 16 hours ago

In other old news: the sugar industry says "sugar isnt dangerouse and too much sugar doesnt exist" (yes this is actually a statement of the sugar industry)

[–] kokesh@lemmy.world 6 points 19 hours ago

By dying maybe

[–] collapse_already@lemmy.ml 4 points 19 hours ago

Defunding is not how, but he is the stupidest person to ever hold the office, so expecting him to know better is a recipe for disappointment.

[–] bagsy@lemmy.world 9 points 23 hours ago

Can, but won't.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

Soooo, he's going to use tax payer dollars to fund Christian science reading rooms across the nation?

[–] FriendOfDeSoto@startrek.website 60 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The report also seems not to realize that it is being written by the Trump administration.

There are a few delightful digs like this in this article.

The only thing that's golden is the tacky veneer on the White House walls in the picture.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 3 points 15 hours ago

you should see his trump tower rooms its worst.

[–] Photonic@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Wasn’t even written by Beth Mole either lol

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 9 points 1 day ago
[–] thethrilloftime69@feddit.online 17 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Do they even know how science works?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 14 hours ago

Yeah. It's a guy in a white lab coat (and for them, it has to be a guy) saying whatever they want him to say.

[–] pHr34kY@lemmy.world 3 points 23 hours ago

Science is now illegal for all except military.

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago
[–] villainy@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is just a euphemism for alchemy isn't it. He's going to dump billions of taxpayer dollars into a quest to turn lead into gold.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 14 hours ago

No more absurd than the LLM bubble.

[–] Naich@piefed.world 32 points 1 day ago

What? By dying?

[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

...by leaving office

[–] Dookieman12@piefed.social 20 points 1 day ago

The Golden Age will begin once the Orange Era concludes.

[–] nyan@lemmy.cafe 25 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Trump's understanding of science is on a par with that of Flat Earth and Hollow Earth believers. It's hard to foster what you don't understand.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 5 points 15 hours ago

hollow earth is where all the kaiju come form.

[–] uuj8za@piefed.social 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That's probably what the mean... :(

Golden Age of Science (according to Republicans): Flat Earth, Lizard People, Bigfoot, Aliens

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

pseudoscience, alternative science as well, crystals, Chronic lyme, anti-vaxx, humours,,,,,etc.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 1 points 12 hours ago

Bleach in veins!

[–] Abyssian@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

They don't mean "Golden age of science" as a time when lots of awesome and important science gets done. He fired all the scientists. But he IS having the plain black ink in science printers replaced with a sparkly gold ink, so all of the bad science will look way more shiny and golden.

[–] goatinspace@feddit.org 2 points 21 hours ago
[–] _Nemo_@lemmy.ml 12 points 1 day ago

...by axing or redirecting (read: embezzling) funds once spent on actual science?

[–] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

This coming from the same guy who was confused about what happens with magnets just a few months ago and now he tells people in order to make money you "do magnets".

A real golden shower of wisdom from that bag.

[–] Flower@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 day ago

We'll reach new heights in astrology and horoscopes. Tea leaves will hold no more secrets and we'll become a major exporter in rabbit feet! /s

[–] db2@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Only if the word is redefined to mean "shitting your diaper and lying about it".

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 11 points 1 day ago

That Orange Pedo love’s ignorance not science.

[–] magnetosphere@fedia.io 7 points 1 day ago

“Can”, not “will”. A subtle but important distinction.

[–] DeathsEmbrace@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

Yeah bleach injections for covid you don't want these leaded gasoline enthusiasts around any scale.

[–] username_1@discuss.tchncs.de 7 points 1 day ago

Trump: A golden science of deals. Lesson 1. You pay me and I won't hurt you much...

can usher in new gold in age of science?

i think they've been doing that already. and lining their pockets with it.

[–] the_riviera_kid@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago
