well the vast majority of those are just arch and debian with extra steps, with the occasional fedora based or independent distro

I was in sales around the time in between 2.1 and 4. Win 3 was the current and you could hardly multitask anything that wasn't idle.
I found out you could open a music video 9 times and tile it and it just worked (a little slow)
I was all wtf are we even selling Windows, this is amazing.
Then win95 hit, and it could do the same time.
Microsoft had us put out a table with win95, I ran that exact demo with the Edie Brickell video from the install CD and copies flew off the floor.
