I genuinely believe there are people out there who might ask something like this

They are working on it. First it will be AI (Actually, Indians) driving robots. Then it will be AI (Also, Indians) driving robots.

So so accurate. All the while the community of perpetual users of AI (Actual Imbeciles) sit back on their arses picking fights with a phone screen πŸ™„

Or like, realistically, if you had an AI powered robot in your house, I would only want it for one thing, and that would be to take clothes out of the dryer and put them on coat hangers. It doesn't even have to put them in the closet. I'd be okay with it putting it on a rack.

I just hate taking the clothes out of my dryer, and I want something to do that for me.

Yeah but lazy buggers wouldn’t stop at hanging clothes up. And they know it

Yeah we used to imagine a future where all the household tasks were done by robots, and we humans busied ourselves with intellectual work (e.g. The Jetsons).

But as it turns out, generating text and computer files is relatively easy for machines, but physical robotics in uncontrolled dynamic environments is a tough problem.

That pretty much sums it up. Of course, and it might just be with hindsight, but sometimes I do wonder why anyone ever thought things would turn out like that? πŸ€”

Because you were smart and either didn't hook your dishwasher up to the WiFi or didn't buy the AI+ pro platinum model with a premium subscription.

It’s these kinds of comments that make my day
