Make A Grave Already

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

I will be “respectfully” pouring drinks for everyone at the party following the announcement.

I won't be dancing on his grave but, as the president set the precedent, I'll be glad that he's dead.

We'll be respectful with his classic lines:

"I could say that he was an ugly SOB. I could say he was a pedofilie. It might even be true. But I'm not going to. I'm being respectful."

In terms of raw number of people partying, it'll be the most widely celebrated death of all time. So far.

We all know the Dems will tell us to be respectful and cry on TV about civility

A Proper Respect For the Office demands we wholeheartedly celebrate if the office outlasts the present holder, who's strangling it and us.

Reminds me of Hitchens' critique of the 10 commandments .

"Honor thy father and mother" only works if yours are worth honoring. Talk to a social worker and you will find some parents that truly truly should not be honored.

I feel bad for people who have given him so much of their time, energy, and attention over the last 12 years.

So basically every person on this planet cuz his dipshittery is now affecting gas prices across the globe.

But hey, at least we aren't the dipshits willingly emptying their wallets for him.

It's going to feel so satisfying when his mouth can't formulate words anymore. Literally no new words from a mouth that hasn't stopped making stupid noises since 1946.

It's probably ok to pay attention to things that are impacting your life.

It's not healthy to go overboard with it.

Is pretty hard not to put 2 & 2 together when looking at the cost of living impact.

Sounds like something a middle-man interloper would say to insidiously manipulate you into obedience [to their tricking you] and out of questioning [what other dodgy stuff they're up to].

"Brahma has no grandchild" sprang to mind just before I click Post.
