pied-à-terre
A secondary or temporary place of lodging. Smaller temporary or secondary lodging; a second home.
For those, like me, who've never encountered that term before.

Well that saved me some time … Thanks!
What do you want to bet the judge has one of those pied-à-terres?
All the idiots who are unemployed or making $30k/yr when someone reads them this headline, "All I know is you come try to take MY pied-à-terre and you gonna find out real fast, buddy!!!"
The group says the city wrongly flagged their primary residences as subject to the tax.
Okay. That is why there has already been a process in place for reporting that which is, allegedly, pretty quick about correcting these inaccuracies.
People: "Some of us had our primary residence taxed accidentally."
Judge: "Clearly I should block this tax entirely rather than in these particular instances. This makes perfect sense."
Don't know enough if the judge is just cautious or a right wing shill
Time for the residents to go protest in front of the judges house. Push back.
Fucking awesome how something to help the poor is stopped IMMEDIATELY and something to screw us just sails right on through to the scrotus for a rubber stamp.
So depressing…
Todd Blanche was confirmed at 4:30 a.m. and will be the reason the midterms go sideways.
They should change squatting laws and keep a very public list of empty homes
