Kids suck. I don't like them. Glad if you do, please enjoy. But they slobber, shed, smell and are generally mostly a nuisance. They can be fun for brief periods, but they're way more work and hassle than they're worth. My brother is thinking of getting a kid and I hope he doesn't because it would make me reluctant to spend a weekend at his place. I can't believe the number of people who seriously admit to loving their kids more than their dogs. I can't believe people consider themselves their kid's "parent". I can't believe how forcefully the online community backlashes to the idea of dogs or judgemental of "ill-mannered" and neurodiverse dogs, yet will happily say "it is never a kid's" fault, no matter how "bad" the kid is.

i cant believe theres people that tell autists to just "drop their mask". sure i understand it's tiring to keep it on, but as nice as dropping it sounds, i don't wanna die alone thank you very much.

Human euthanasia should be legalized and normalized, both medically assisted suicide and euthanasia when the person is suffering but unable to make decisions for themselves. If it's an act of mercy to euthanize a pet who is suffering, then we should be able to have the same compassion for our fellow humans.

Of you listen to some of Hitlers speeches with the mindset of someone not already rich in early 1930's Germany with what they have been going through, what he is proposing and who he is blaming doesn't actually sound all that insane.

People should be allowed to have and grow all the plants on this planet. All drugs should be allowed without prescription. Prescription should be suggestion not permission.

My unpopular opinion is that French food is pretty mid.

The "running man" hypothesis -- the idea that our ancestors a million or two years ago were casually jogging after prey animals until they dropped from exhaustion due to our supposedly superior endurance -- is utter nonsense. It's absurd on its face and there is absolutely no evidence of any kind supporting it, yet it has become generally accepted as an incontrovertible fact about our past.

The man who initially proposed this idea in the 1960s (Grover Krantz) has become utterly forgotten and is never referenced by the idea's modern proponents, and for good reason: he was better-known as a staunch believer in the existence of Bigfoot. Also, for no reason I've ever been able to figure out, his skeleton and the skeleton of his favorite dog are on display at the Smithsonian.

Privilaged people should be sent to a third world country for a year or two so they'll realize what birthplace lottery is, how good their life is. Ofc I'm talking about the people who think they aren't privilaged but in reality they are.

Religion is for people who would rather be told what to do than figure life out themselves.
