😱 /s

GOP = Grand. Old. Pedos.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 hours ago

Of course he did. That is one of the secret requirements after all.

[–] BigMacHole@thelemmy.club 1 points 2 hours ago

WHY is this News? That was ONE of the Requirements for the Job!

-Republican Voters!

"Hey... Would a pedophile wear this suit?"

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 5 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 31 minutes ago)

I've always been wondering as to why the right have so many pedophiles is because since liberals support LGBTQ+, the conservatives must have conflated LGBTQ+ with pedophilia.

Right: Why are liberals supporting these LGBTQ pedos?

Also the right: If libs support them, then that must mean....

It explains a lot as to why the right elect so many child abusers and turn a blind eye to Trump. They must have thought supporting LGBT rights is tacit support for child abuse, as well as their fixation on pedophiles is innate projection 😂

This keeps happening.

Odd.

[–] NihilsineNefas@slrpnk.net 4 points 8 hours ago

Its always the ones you expect the most.

[–] Danarchy@lemmy.nz 31 points 14 hours ago

There are secret symbols pedos use to identify each other for example an elephant

[–] ImgurRefugee114@reddthat.com 91 points 17 hours ago (4 children)

Weird how that keeps happening, huh

[–] im_fine_sandy@nord.pub 52 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

All jokes and snarky witticisms aside, the correlation between sex crimes and conservative politics is remarkable.

[–] jtrek@startrek.website 30 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I read a blog post once about that. If I recall, it made the argument that conservatism is fundamentally about hierarchy and abuse. Child abuse is about hierarchy and abuse. It's thus not surprising they go together.

The blog was more sophisticated than my memory of it, of course.

Rape is always about power and not about sex.

[–] WhatAmLemmy@lemmy.world 25 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

The grand old pedophiles strike again

[–] EntheoNaut@lemmy.ml 12 points 16 hours ago

Greedy. Old. Pedophiles.

[–] it_depends_man@lemmy.world 15 points 17 hours ago (3 children)

I am genuinely surprised people still get arrested for that. I suppose protection is only for the super top dogs.

Or that's how they recruit people. Either find those with that kind of history, then make them work by offering, then spring the trap anyway, "for justice".

[–] SpaceCowboy@lemmy.ca 9 points 15 hours ago

They know they have complete loyalty when they have that kind blackmail on someone.

"Skin in the game". Getting people dirty and having dirt on them is foundational for any crime ring, but especially pedo freaks.

[–] Sunforged@lemmy.ml 14 points 17 hours ago

I was going to comment this. I keep seeing people arrested for pedo behavior but sentencing is a whole other piece that isn't as headline grabbing.

[–] inclementimmigrant@lemmy.world 8 points 17 hours ago

It's always who you most expect.

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 21 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

What?! No way! ANOTHER Republican is ousted as a pedophile? Who could have seen this coming...

This may just mean Republicans are more careless.

[–] METATRONSTUDENT@lemmy.today 29 points 15 hours ago

It’s always the ones you most suspect

[–] bibbasa@piefed.social 11 points 13 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Akuchimoya@startrek.website 13 points 13 hours ago

The thing that surprises me is he was arrested instead of promoted.

[–] Zephorah@discuss.online 23 points 17 hours ago (3 children)

Someone should make a comprehensive list of the Republican Party’s pedophile contributions in the last 10yrs.

[–] Manjushri@piefed.social 16 points 14 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Zephorah@discuss.online 2 points 3 hours ago

Somehow, not surprising.

[–] arin@lemmy.world 7 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

There was an old one on reddit for convicted politician pedos and it was a huge list, tldr.

That list covered both parties, but most times only one side got posted.

[–] bunnybunny@lemmy.zip 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

So GOP stands for Good Old Pedophiles

[–] Zannsolo@lemmy.world 5 points 11 hours ago

Group of pedophiles

[–] arotrios@lemmy.world 9 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

I think we're beginning to see that pedophilia isn't just an aberration of a few bad apples in the GOP, rather it's a per-requisite for gaining power in the party. It provides their handlers the compromat needed to enforce compliance with the Project 2025 agenda.

[–] hoppeduponcoffee@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

When you reduce your entire being to the selfish acquisition of power, wealth and property, a pathos towards humanity through the lens of Social Darwinism, a glorification of patriarchy, machismo and violence, with the sexual and emotional repression of hyper-religiosity, you’ve created the perfect conditions for the peak of ethical and moral behaviors. /s

You think anyone who's not a pedophile would want half that shit?

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 5 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

I find a tiny flicker of hope in the suggestion there's an element in the police force that still does go after these child rapists, despite their GOPedophile connections.

Trump has no shame but if anything should be universally stigmatizing, this should.

[–] uberdroog@lemmy.world 4 points 16 hours ago

He had nothing else to offer. Its kinda like being laid off.
