This is slander to space. Elon has never been there, and probably never will be. He's not associated with it at all, and if asked, space has dozens of planets as witnesses willing to corroborate this.

He's not a Space Nazi. He's a Rocket Nazi. Not even the Rocket Nazi (that'd be Wernher von Braun); just a wannabe hack.

I've found most people who tell me "that's the truth" are lying.

Or when they preface anything with "honestly...".

[–] huquad@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 hour ago

The source? I just made it the fuck up

[–] halezinflames@lemmus.org 7 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Oh boy, the Nazi that is now suing a US state over them trying to stop AI from generating CSAM has a bad take? Shocked.

[–] AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

The same state that actually showed Derek Chauvin some actual consequences for once in his life.

Minnesota is kinda awesome if you can overlook the continued existence of MPD.

[–] halezinflames@lemmus.org 2 points 13 minutes ago

Definitely.

[–] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 14 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Not a "space" Nazi. Just a very rich and powerful one.

What did we used to do to rich and powerful Nazis? Because keeping those around seems like a problem for everybody.

[–] Nonconfrontational@lemmy.ml 6 points 3 hours ago

Give them high paying jobs in the defense industry, NASA, and NATO.

Elon Musk only had to shut the fuck up and mind his business and he could’ve been the happiest, most successful, piece of shit drain on society alive. Instead, he’s a miserable little bitch whining online about a murder committed by an officer 6 years ago. Christ.

[–] irish_link@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

To prove your point I legit don’t know (based on your word I should say remember) who the dude is. Was this the Minnesota cop who shot the dude in the car while he still had his seat belt on? Or the dude who shot the kid for being new to his neighborhood (who we all found out after the fact stole a pack of skittles).

Keep in mind I stole a few candy bars when I was in high school. Kids do dumb shit, all kids do.

Or wait was this the main asshole cop that suffocated a dude in the middle of the street by laying his knee on the guys back?

Or was this The New York or New Jersey cop who suffocated a dude for selling cigarettes on the sidewalk?

Fuck….

When you list it all out from memory it’s fucked up. And I’m sure I’m still missing some.

"Space Nazi" affords him even the dubious accolade of getting to or enabling space travel.

Just call him a Nepo Nazi, as he is. Highlights the only thing he's achieved: getting ahead based on being raised with "South African emerald mine" money.

[–] subgenius@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago

I am the Great and Wonderful Oz, therefore I will think for you to ease your burden.

[–] Vex_Detrause@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 hours ago

Here comes the pardon...

[–] JerkyChew@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

There must be some really crazy credible allegations about to drop for him to try this level of SEO-bombing.

[–] paddy@piefed.social 22 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

He continued to kneel on George's neck for several minutes after being told - by his fellow officers - that he had no pulse. He 100% intended for that man to die.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

Didn't some of the testimony include that they'd had beef since high school?

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 37 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

I don't know who needs to hear this, but Derek Chauvin himself pleaded guilty in federal court and admitted that he used excessive force.

Whatever the constitutionality or merits of his current effort to reduce or eliminate his federal sentence, that has absolutely nothing to do with his underlying murder conviction. Chauvin was convicted of murder in state court beyond a reasonable doubt, and he admitted his guilt. A subsequent challenge to his sentence does not erase, invalidate, or somehow put that conviction up for debate. Derek Chauvin is, and will remain, a convicted murderer.

And Elon Musk continues to prove, over and over again, that he may be the stupidest smart person I have ever seen in my life.

[–] NotASharkInAManSuit@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

He’s not a dumb smart person, he’s a dumb person’s interpretation of a smart person. He was just born with too much money to fail. The guy is stupid as fuck.

[–] nickiwest@lemmy.world 3 points 3 hours ago

And the drug use is not helping.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 15 points 6 hours ago

He's not smart! Holy shit why do people think he is a genius? I just don't understand, he didn't invent anything, doesn't design anything engineers are currently talking about having to walk him back because he's deadset on something catastrophically stupid.

[–] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 19 points 13 hours ago

I distinctly remember when that video popped up on reddit.

My reaction was "i just watched a murder."

It was very clear in the moment, nothing has changed that.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

intents are seldom admissible in court

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

The primary difference between murder and manslaughter is the defendant’s state of mind and intent at the time of the killing.

The father of all lies. I have seen no one that lies as much as him and these AI bros. They should be deported to Mars. They do not deserve to live on Earth

[–] Glaedr304@lemmy.world 8 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

Deported to mars without a space suit

[–] Naive@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

And without any of their gadgets. Just they themselves.

[–] vala@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 7 hours ago

Nah, he can take grok and X with him

[–] joecitizen@piefed.ca 31 points 16 hours ago (3 children)

Jail all billionaires. You can't be that rich without being a thief. You've stolen wages from the people.

"the ants are unifying under the banner of socialism! Quick! Divide them racially again! Get them hating each other!!!"

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 7 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

It has always worked before, if not race then sex, if not sex then nationality, if not nationality then religion, if not religion then age, if not age then social status, on and on ad naseum.

[–] FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 10 points 13 hours ago

No war but class war.

[–] ragebutt@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

“Why do people say such atrocious things” they wonder, as they endlessly reply, retweet, screenshot and spread to other social networks, etc

Engagement is engagement

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

When have people not said atrocious things?

...and how could it be bad to discuss those atrocious things that were said?

Yes, Twitter makes money from engagement, engagement is big business everywhere from bars to church to parks to online meeting places. Engagement is supremely important and valuable.

[–] ragebutt@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 hours ago

yes exactly. Why do you think that is???

Human behavior is motivated by several functions, one of the most common being attention. Note that attention is not qualified or given adjectives. This is because behavioral research has shown for decades that attention is attention and serves to reinforce the behavior, thus increasing the likelihood that it continues

“Don’t feed the troll”, basically

Think about it, what does Elon (or anyone like him) get from posting nasty shit or doing hitler salutes? Notoriety. And what happens when you engage with this to label it as bad? Does he suffer? No, he is emboldened. Both financially (as you’ve mentioned) and through the function of attention based reinforcement. Someone telling you you’re a fucking piece of shit is still someone willing to give you the time of day.

However, this very basic concept is both apparently extremely difficult to understand as well as reliant on impulse control which is increasingly in short supply. Thus, we are doomed.

Is it legal to wish someone to put a knee on his neck until this bastard passes out?

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 5 points 14 hours ago

It's legal to wish he gets fucked to death by Gritty of the Philadelphia Flyers.

[–] Hueristic_Autistic@lemmy.world 29 points 19 hours ago (9 children)

'Kay smart guy: What do you call it when you suffocate someone to death with your knee on their neck?
