"girl, stop... I can't"

Who made this? Who thought it'd be funny to write that?

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip -1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

You’re on .world and you don’t know the answer?

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 2 points 45 minutes ago

Hey we've got another person who thinks they're a comedian. Good one, man! Check OP's instance

I feel like none of the people in that picture deserve to have a laugh at this. They are responsible for that orange dookie being in the White House.

Yeah, clearly their fault and not the millions of voters who preferred fascism or the millions of people who didn't give a shit enough to do anything. /s

[–] TranscendentalEmpire@lemmy.today 4 points 49 minutes ago

Fascism does not happen in a vacuum. It happens when the political system becomes stagnant leading voters to turn to populism for political change. The right embraced this to secure control of the state, the Democrats dug their heels in the dirt and consistently supported third way Democrats who consistently sold off social safety networks and progressive rights to secure economic benefits for the wealthy donor class.

Fascism isn't appealing unless the status quo is extraordinarily bad for the average person. Observe, the party of the status quo. Do you not think they contributed to where we are?

[–] lemonhead2@lemmy.world -1 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

all of them tried very hard to keep him out.

Obama was a rhetorical master, but his policies failed to address inequality, laying the ground work for the rise of Trump. Hillary played dirty to win against Bernie and then came off as totally fake and disconnected, leading to Trumps victory. Biden failed to prosecute Trump and also failed to address inequality, allowing Trump to redeem his image. Kamala then tried to court moderates instead of promising meaningful change. The democrats as a whole have failed for decades now to address inequality and reign in the excesses of capitalism. Trump is a direct result of their failure.

Classic Republican campaign: get the left to fight amongst themselves.

[–] chuckleslord@lemmy.world 1 points 12 minutes ago

Classic moron strategy: attack any attempt to hold the more reasonable political party accountable for their actions as sowing division.

They work for us, genius. If we don't criticize their failures then they'll never have an incentive to improve. They already want to sit around doing nothing and earn votes by "not being that guy". If we don't push them, their party will just continue following the Republicans lockstep into fascism.

The GOP changed because of a fucking astroturf strategy by the Koch Brothers in the form of the TEA party. The democrats are only now starting to change because of insurgency from the left. They'll only continue to change if you keep the pressure on them. Refusing to court criticism will only cause them to fall further to the right, causing them to lose even more than they are right now.

[–] Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 hour ago

Oh, they don't need outside interference to do that.

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Classic Democrat campaign; don’t prosecute the criminals because of what might come out about you/your party

[–] im_fine_sandy@nord.pub 2 points 1 hour ago

LOL.

Its hard to imagine the feels could be worse than republicans.

It seems like every other day one of them is detained on sexual assault charges.

[–] Nonconfrontational@lemmy.ml 6 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

What??? Google the pied piper strategy that Hilary employed during her campaign. She is the literal reason he won, lol.

[–] JustJack23@slrpnk.net 6 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

And they all(except Obama) lost to that guy....

[–] Th4tGuyII@fedia.io 4 points 2 hours ago

It's worth noting that Clinton actually did win the popular vote. More than half the country voted for her, but due to the stupid as fuck way the Electoral College works, many of those votes were effectively discarded

[–] RockBottom@feddit.org 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

You subscribe to the steal?

[–] JustJack23@slrpnk.net 0 points 1 hour ago

It still counts if you are so incoherent you can't say a single sentence.

Given that can be trump too...

[–] Nonconfrontational@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Love how you guys are able to enjoy memes featuring exclusively war criminals now. Very liberal coded!

[–] Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

At least 50% of these "people" have shit their pants in the Oval Office.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

i mean, the big one is featured on the community's profile picture, so fair warning

[–] Nonconfrontational@lemmy.ml 0 points 2 hours ago

Yeah but as you'll see, the entire community can poke fun at trumps war crimes, but my statement will be down voted by butthurt libs, lol.

[–] RockBottom@feddit.org 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

When will the establishment acknowledge their responsibility for it all?

[–] sculptor0725@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

If they'd let if vote for Bernie, we wouldn't have Trump.

[–] Telodzrum@lemmy.world -1 points 58 minutes ago

Bernie, the guy who got his ass kicked by HRC in the primaries?

[–] CannonFodder@lemmy.world -1 points 1 hour ago

Enough people failed to vote for Bernie in the primaries. That's how it works.

[–] 5ha99y@lemmus.org 1 points 3 hours ago

Actually he would be agent orange... Wait...

[–] Cleisthenes72@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 hours ago

And then I said "Look forward, not backward" and the dumbasses thought there would be no consequences!!!

[–] skunk@lemmy.zip -5 points 4 hours ago (3 children)

can we stop with the fatshaming???

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

There is no fat shaming just because he was called a type of food

The joke is about his bad bronzer and his cowardice, and the fact that he was in a catering cart like a food is

Performative wokeness is back that way, in the drawer with the “I’m with her” and “brat summer” signs 🔙

[–] skunk@lemmy.zip -1 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

They call him a "fat ass"

Performative wokeness

as if you're not performing antiwokeness. Go back to your den of smugness and superiority.

[–] BozeKnoflook@lemmy.world 12 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Trump doesn't deserve any courtesy, as he never gives it himself.

[–] skunk@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 hour ago

Do fat people deserve courtesy though?
