The promise of retirement for Millennials is just a mirage. Conservatives keep sabotaging social security even thogh it has worked for 3 generations.
Eh, Gen X told each other that sort of thing for years, and believe me, I stashed the maximum I possibly could in things like 401K when I could because of that sentiment.
Gen Y stands to be the benefactors of the largest wealth transfer in history, by the way. It won't be equally distributed, but still.

The numbers are staggering enough to seem unreal: roughly $84 trillion in assets will transfer from Baby Boomers to younger generations over the next 20 years. I wouldn't call Inheritance a wealth transfer, that term is pretty much only used for compelled forced transfers (taxes, increased prices for tariffs, etc).

You think something will pass like that? The Epstein class will have drained it all with the Boomers' retirement/elderly care. The Millennials won't get anything from their parents.

Is that an AI-generated thumbnail? I don't like propagating ubiquitous "genAI skepticism" where they bumble into every scene and randomly decry things as AI.
But something about the strain/cord in the older man's neck and the younger man's hand gestures aren't cogent. Like, I can't parse what the gesture might mean (which could very well be a personal failing).
