Have you seen his lame dance where he masturbates two invisible men all over his face?

[–] Jankatarch@lemmy.world 6 points 1 hour ago

Yeah US is losing the meme wars for sure.

Someone will then have to give a history lesson to trump teaching him that modern day Iran is Persia.

[–] Quacksalber@sh.itjust.works 45 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

Why is the "This is Iran" flag behind him? Is he an Iranian agent? A trick question, I know.

[–] Serinus@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago

Not directly. He serves Russia, which has interests in increasing Iran's influence on the world stage.

I think this is a reference to the movie 300, where there is a line “this is Sparta”, but I never saw the movie and also it doesn’t make sense.

[–] Kazumara@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 49 minutes ago (1 children)

It also reminded me of that. But the weird thing is that Sparta is the one we were supposed to root for, in the movie. So why would the Trumpists write Iran there? Maybe just stupidity once again?

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 39 minutes ago

lol that’s why I added “also it doesn’t make sense.”

Maybe in bizarro opposite world, the Persians are not the Persians. We are the Persians and the Persians are the Spartans. Therefore they say “this is Iran” and then also lose to us (us being the Persians) and in this twisted remake it now follows the plot line 🤷

Hold up, in the background there's a Greek soldier holding a flag that says This Is Iran? What? So that's saying that the Greeks and therefore Donald Trump are on Iran's side? What the fuck? I mean I know it's silly to look for coherence in anything related to him but still.

When Americans see this, do they feel proud of their elected leader? I can tell you what the rest of the world thinks about him.

[–] RaoulDuke25@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 37 minutes ago

Most of us wake up hoping the news says he's dead.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 5 points 1 hour ago

I feel like he's a cringe dumb fuck who in multiple ways doesn't know he's losing to Persia

[–] FordBeeblebrox@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Fuck no, this is embarrassing and stupid.

As a Pennsylvanian I saw the writing on the wall leading up to the 2024 election. I grew up in a very conservative household, and my parents are still very pro-Trump. His reelection destroyed me, despite it seeming inevitable. How can a large chunk of this country not only not feel shame from this, but actively encourage and enjoy it?

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 2 points 33 minutes ago

Because your country is broken, and uncivilised

Stupidity is celebrated and worldliness and curiousity are viewed with fear and suspicion

Oh, and then there's the hatred...

[–] banause@feddit.org 1 points 33 minutes ago (1 children)

But what do your parents say to those kind of posts? I'm genuinely interested. It's so bizarre to me.

[–] DaPorkchop_@lemmy.ml 1 points 4 minutes ago

my dad just sort of handwaves them away as "jokes" and aggressively refuses to engage any further than that

1/3 of the country thinks he's the best thing to ever happen to America. They eat this stuff up.

1/3 of the country thinks he's somewhere between a national embarrassment and an existential threat to our constitutional democracy.

1/3 of the country is apathetic about politics and cannot be bothered to give a shit over way or the other.

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 hours ago

And most all of the country can't afford to do anything since most are a couple paychecks from homelessness and depend on their employer for healthcare.

[–] FistingEnthusiast@lemmy.world 0 points 32 minutes ago

That last third are just as bad as the third who support him

[–] disorderly@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

When I see this, I feel profoundly confused. Also embarrassed.

[–] RockBottom@feddit.org 2 points 2 hours ago

He doesn't know what nice is either, so.

[–] db2@lemmy.world 7 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Remind implies he learned literally anything in the first place. He doesn't have the cognitive oomph to wipe his own ass, it's amazing he can speak at all tbh.

[–] sad_detective_man@sopuli.xyz 3 points 3 hours ago

I mean, he's got child-fucking in common with the Spartans. Maybe he did do his research
