Out of his own pocket right? Surely he wouldn't just give away taxpayer money like that...

No way Trump paid someone from his own pocket.
This isn't abnormal. I work in an HR department for state legislature. The assembly and senate members will often give some of their staff temporary bonuses in the form on a temporary increase in salary. During the legislative term staff can sometimes work 16+ hour days depending on their role as a staffer with the member they work for. Since we are all salaried these staff are not paid overtime. They get comped time to take off extra hours for every hour they worked, but depending on office logistics, they aren't always able to use that time and it expires at the end of the legislative term.
The elected officials all get an office budget to work with, which is passed via state budget law. It's up to the elected official how to use the funds as long as they aren't doing anything illegal.
I don't know jack shit about how staff salary works at the national congressional level.
The gifts were noted in the staffers’ annual financial disclosure forms that were published by the administration last week.
Trump is garbage, but in this instance it might be a nothing burger.
So, given that he has billions to work with, he's being cheap as fuck?
Natalie is out here changing his diaper and wiping his ass and she gets the same amount as everyone else?
Not a diaper changer. That seriously downplays what she actually does and her insanity.
She not a nurse or anything else reasonable. She was an OAN "news anchor" and was easily the most insane Trump worshiper on that network.
She now has access to Trumps social media and posts under his name, including replying to other world leaders, and giving orders to other parts of the government via tweet.
But mostly she's a fluffer. Trumps ego, trumps dick, she rides both.
Yeah when the story about her first came out she did a bunch of mean girl tweets from the official White House Twitter. She probably runs all of them.
ORLY? Then who changes his diaper?
She does.
Good point. Further, I wonder if she ever relays her resentment and disgust to Russia.
Jesse, what are you talking about?
These are tips for diaper services and other services like procuring the BigMacs to feed Sarlaac's maw.
If they weren't all stooges I would've said it's one of the nicest things he's done.
It either came out of taxpayer funds or fraudulent business crimes, so it's not a feel good story.
