All they had to do was improve their facial recognition to scan all photos. Scammers would use fake photos and put their real photo (ai edited slightly) as the their last photo. This allowed them to get verified, but still scam. They don’t need more biometrics. Other apps are doing fine without your iris scans.

Either skip upgrading, buy used, wait for prices to drop, or start saving.

I have a used machine, until I can afford to get something new. Maybe in a little while I’ll get a framework. (I think that if the 16” gets a pro model I’d definitely get one.)

They should’ve chosen a lane. OpenAI was about free LLMs, then they went LLC and decided that AI could make money. It doesn’t make money though, so now we’re watching the idiots realize they have burned all this money investing it into AI.

All the experts told us it couldn’t do any of the things sci-fi writers love to write stories about. Nothing changed except perception, and with by directing perception they managed to use an old technology to temporarily buttress the economy.

It’s 100% covert advertising. The users of Vimeo know better and are likely jumping ship ASAP. This is to convince people who haven’t left or don’t know better that things are fine and Vimeo is open for business.

Even if AI does the job of reading medical imaging extremely well, I’d still want a radiologist to double-check the scans.
