Isn't this what Apple has been doing for decades now? Wait until tech stabilizes and doing it right? It tried to really innovate with the AR/VR headset and it flopped.

I don't think they wait till smartphone and smart tablet are stabilised, when they do iphone and ipad, their competitors are still fumbling around with the tech but they somehow make it right. When they do vision pro the same thing is happening, their competitor(google glass, microsoft hololens) is still fumbling around with the tech, but this time they overestimated their own capability and also the demand of this thing.
They released iphone after many competitors had half baked products in the market. Using capacitive touch with gestures like pinch zoom was absolutely brilliant.
For tablets, they waited until Microsoft's attempt at tablet computers failed, and then they gave their own twist. I guess there was a time they actively learned from their competitors' successes and mistakes.
And all of them start showing crease on the folding line after a few weeks or months.
Really? I thought it's visible from day 1.
Some recent models are better at not showing it. But sooner or later it becomes noticeable.
Who cares who got to market first?
Why bother when fans happily live a decade in the past?
