As is often the case, it's too coherent to be believable.

But the States I'd love to see divided!

I could go with a merger of the Carolinas and Dakotas… weaken republican power in the senate.

Might as well collapse Wyoming into Montana while you’re at it.

Look at this artist -- the guy actually put some bare minimum effort in handwriting and the text is clearly readable. Most artists do some ugly mess even while digital drawing.

He graduated with a degree in physics from Amherst College in 1984.

I never realized he had a physics degree.

Other than the Carolinas, all of that is based as shit and makes the subject of the cartoon actually look like a hero of the people (to be clear, he is not a hero of the people. This makes the cartoonist look like he's not aware of just how based these things would be)

Is a united Dakota a movement I am unfamiliar with?

[–] frisbird@lemmy.ml 2 points 5 hours ago

Yes, it's called land back and decolonization

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 10 points 12 hours ago

I assume there aren't enough people to oppose it.

Who is this supposed to be about?

In that case it's a bad cartoon - I don't think people see Trump as someone whose out there wildly calling for unity and togetherness.

That's a pretty disconnected image to portray.

He ran out of stuff to name "America" so he started naming stuff "united".
