For runners, the difference between 60F and 100F (~15.5 - 37.8 C) is about 2 minutes per mile at the same effort. That's a huge difference. Humidity makes it worse because your body's main method for cooling itself doesn't work, but sweating, comfort, and preference aside, its literally harder to do anything in the heat.
If it gets too cold I can bundle up. If it gets too hot theres only so many clothes I can take off before that bitch Brenda goes to H.R.
See, my problem is that being too hot is just uncomfortable to me but being too cold is physically painful no matter how many layers I put on.
You need better layers then. If it’s your face that’s a problem get a good scarf and angle it so your breath blows back up over your nose and cheeks.
I’ve been out and comfortable in -30°C/-20°F, but much below that and it get tricky without goggles, and boot and glove warmers.

It's finally been getting down to the 60s F (16-21 C) here in Minnesota and I can take walks without sweating the whole way through. I'm a little disappointed to have heard we may have a mild winter this year.
Mild winter? Nooooo!!! The last one for me in the 60s and I barely got a winter at all last time :(

Cold is okay alone, but add wind and/or rain and cold sucks.
Heat is okay without humidity, and as long as it still gets cool at night for a break. Heat with wind and/or rain is okay, but heat with wind and dust sucks. Dust always sucks.

That's really funny because it's the same for me : snow is the absolute thing I would gladly never see again and wouldn't miss it, even for a second. But I have to agree that 45°C is hell, as is -20°C.
34°C (94F) is the perfect temperature. Acceptable upper limit would be 38°C (100F), above that it's hot. Acceptable lower limit is 25°C (77F), below that it's cold
