My boss has been pushing AI so hard. Only just realized it hallucinates. Schadenfreude is immense at seeing att the backtracking.

My (as of today, former πŸ₯³) boss has an AI generated tattoo. Even if AI literally killed his entire family he would not backtrack on it.

It's smarter than him and he's being a simp. That could be manipulatable.

Your boss has the same question

I saw a headline where one of the big AI people said AI could do everything better than a human... Except make decisions. So the "executive" class is the only class that is "fine" by the logic.

I don't think they half the self awareness to realize they are in fact frequently pretty pointless even ignoring AI.

No he doesn't. He's here because he's the smartest and most important one working there and his farts smell like fresh lavender. The AI told him so.

Someone has to take the blame.

To fix everything the AI gets wrong, naturally

[–] ByteJunk@lemmy.world 2 points 14 hours ago

This. To pick up the pieces and clean up the mess.

They're shifting it however - if I commit something that the AI generated but it breaks something, it's on me because I should have caught it, which basically means that it takes me about as long or sometimes even more than it would have to just do an it myself outright, but whatever rocks your boat chief.

Will you share examples?

But he kept his employee even though they are apparently useless. That’s not a bad person.

"human in the loop"

Is this Al (short for Al-bert or Al-fred?) in the picture? Poor guy, doesn’t look like he enjoys being used very much
