It's expressed as a joke in a meme, but...
I cannot help but wonder how today's fascists are so shortsighted over their very own future. We saw the pictures of Mussolini and his wife after the dust had settled.
The thing is that none of the WWII era fascist regimes were toppled by their own populace, they were toppled because of an alliance of very powerful foreign countries actively engaging in war against those regimes and expending manpower and resources to fight them for many years. The partisans who eventually caught up with Mussolini could only do so because most o Italy had been liberated by an actual invading army, who could install a friendly government which enabled them to operate freely.
The fascists in the US knows that is not a fate which is going to happen to them, because no countries are going to declare war on them with the purpose of toppling their fascist regime.
Thats the odd part about fascism, and in particular, the cult of personality that drives it.
They think it will be different this time.

That applies to the opposition as well. Which is why fascists can come into power another time
Cause we killed very very few of them. The vast majority got away scott free.
I dream of the day watching Trump and many of his secret service detail get gunned down. I will fly my flag high that day! Then maybe for dirty feds will be dead too 😀😀👍
